KATIE’S SUNDAY ROAST
4lb (can do 2 lb) Chuck roast or round roast
Sear the edges of roast with olive oil and fresh garlic.
1 pkg Lipton soup mix
2 pkg brown gravy mix (the amount of powder for two cups of gravy for 4lb roast)
2 pkg Italian seasoning mix
2 cups water cold
Add potatoes
Carrots
Onions
Cook in Dutch oven with lid 350 for 3 hours
Or 250 for five hours
