GRANDMA MARY’S BBQ BEEF SHORT RIBS
Sauce:
1 lg onion sliced and sauteed
1/2 C water
1/3 C catsup
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp corn syrup
3 or 4 dashes liquid smoke
1 tsp salt/pepper
1/4 C brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
1 bay leaf
3 cloves garlic (crushed)
While ribs are browning, sautee onions in small pan. Then add other ingredients and simmer. Place ribs in crockpot. Pour sauce and onions on top and cook on high for four hours. (I usually like to double the amount of sauce).
