Peach Cobbler


PEACH COBBLER

1/4 C. butter- melted in 8x8 pan 

 Beat together: 
1 C. sugar 
1 C. flour
 ¾ C. milk 
1 ½ tsp. B. powder 
½ tsp. Salt 

Pour mixture in pan on melted butter 
Pour over flour mixture: 
16 oz peaches W/ juice
½ C brown sugar 
1 tsp cinnamon 

 Bake @ 350 F . 35-40 min

I have found baking the peach cobbler in a cast iron skillet really caramelizes it well and tastes extra delicious. Also, the quantities for the breading here are the typical amounts for a 9x13 dish, but I always double the breading and toppings in cobblers.
