SPAGHETTI SAUCE
From Jewel1/4 C. minced onion
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 C. chopped fresh tomatoes or 2-14 oz. cans diced tomates with juice
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 tsp salt
dash of pepper
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 lb. bulk intalian sausage, browned and drained
1 4-oz. can sliced mushrooms
Hot, cooked spaghetti
In skillet, cook sausage, onion, and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink: drain. Transfer to slow-cooker
Stir in the tomato sauce, tomatoes and seasonings
Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours
makes 6 servings
