Sour cream sugar cookies

SOUR CREAM SUGAR COOKIES

grandma patty’s recipe

Ingredients:

1 C shortening (I use butter)

1 C sugar

1 C sour cream

3 egg yokes

1 tsp vanilla

3 C flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda 

Cream shortening (butter) and sugar. 

Add vanilla and eggs. Stir. Add sour cream. 

Add dry ingredients. 

Chill 3 hours and roll out. 

Bake at 350 12 minutes.  

Let cookies cool, and decorate with your favorite Icing.
