APRICOT FRUIT LEATHER

Straight from the apricot trees at our Gordon house—perfect way to use the apricots up!

1. Collect as many apricots as you need to use up. 
2. Slice in half and remove pit. 
3. Throw them into the blender in batches and puree. 
4. Spread thinly onto parchment paper over a cookie sheet   
5. Lay out in the sun for approximately 2 days to dry. You can even turn the leather halfway through to dry evenly. 
6. Once dry slice into strips with the parchment paper still connected and roll up. 
7. Store in airtight container.
