Triple Berry Pie

TRIPLE BERRY PIE

The thanksgiving pie Ellie is always in charge of making.


Prepare 1 recipe of Katie's pie crust (or use store bought double layer crust)


Filling:

4-5 C frozen triple berry mix (or any combo of fresh/frozen fruit desired)

1 C sugar

1/2 C AP flour

1 Tbsp lemon juice


Preheat oven to 400

In a large bowl, combine the filling ingredients; pour into crust. Cover filling with desired crust design--either shapes, criss cross pattern or cover completely , cutting holes into top. Cover edge loosely with foil.

Bake 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350; remove foil. Bake 40-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. Cool on a wire rack.
