LUCKY CHARMS IN EVERYTHING!

LUCKY CHARMS IN EVERYTHING

St. Patrick’s Day is such a fun time to play with Lucky charms in all our favorite recipes. I buy a couple big boxes of lucky charms from Costco and put the kids to work sorting marshmallows from cereal pieces.  St. Patrick’s day is an extra special day in our house since Patrick thinks it was created just for him. Bruce has made it his life mission to convince him otherwise, but patrick cannot be deterred.

LUCKY CHARMS CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

A fun twist on one of our favorites.  This is our basic delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe replacing 1/2 C flour with 1/2 C ground up cereal and one cup of marshmallows added. The marshmallows melt down so deliciously. Don’t forget extra marshmallows on top to make it pretty!

LUCKY CHARMS ICE CREAM

Another delicious treat, this is our basic vanilla ice cream recipe with 1/2 cup ground up cereal added for flavor and lots and lots of Lucky Charms marshmallows. Add the ground cereal the last minute of churning. Fold in the marshmallows at the end.

LUCKY CHARMS PANCAKES

Just your basic buttermilk pancake with a bit of green food coloring and loads of lucky charms marshmallows. The way the marshmallows melt down onto the pan as they cook is unbeatable.

And, of course, if you managed to end up with any leftover marshmallows after all that just put them in a bowl and enjoy with milk, the way my kids like their lucky charms best! Enjoy!
