Orange Rolls

ORANGE ROLLS

Combine & set aside: 
2 T. yeast 
1 C. warm water 
1 tsp. Sugar 

Scald 2 C. milk-remove from heat and add:
¾ C. sugar 
2/3 C. oil 
2 tsp. Salt 

Add 2 beaten eggs then add yeast mixture. 

Add 5 or 6 cups flour until dough is smooth & not sticky.

Raise until doubled. Roll into 2 or 3 circles. Spread w/ filling & cut like pizza. Roll up into crescents. Let raise. 

Bake @ 375 F 10-12 min. Makes 4 doz. Let partially cool then add glaze. 

Filling:
¼ lb butter peel of one orange 
1 C. sugar 

 Glaze:
2 ½ C. powdered sugar 
juice of two oranges
