CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES RECIPE
Ingredients:
12 Tbsp butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 cups + 2 Tbsp flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups m&m (or other add in in like CADBURY EGGS mmmm)
Preheat oven to 325
Mix the melted butter, brown sugar and sugar together in a bowl with a fork. Add egg, egg yolk and vanilla. Stir. Mix in salt & baking soda. Add flour and mix well with fork. Add the chocolate chips and finish mixing dough.
Shape 1/4 cup sized dough balls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Leave 2 - 3 inches between cookies and sides of pan. I usually fit about 6 cookies per sheet pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 - 13 minutes
Remove cookies from the oven when slight browning starts around the edges of the cookies (they may still look a little doughy in the center, but don't worry they'll set up) and let cool on a cooling rack. Makes about 18 BIG, chewy, amazing, chocolate chip cookies.
